Men of the Bayelsa State Police Command on Thursday arrested and
detained the State Correspondent of the PUNCH, Mr. Simon Utebor, in
Yenagoa.
According to a colleague of Utebor, he was arrested for taking the pictures of some areas in Otuoke, the hometown of President Goodluck Jonathan, who will hand over the Presidency to Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
The PUNCH correspondent, whose mobile set has been switched off, was said to have been transferred to the Police Command Headquarters in Yenagoa, where he was said to have been grilled by the state Commissioner of Police.
